Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the bargeats service, including the website at bargeats.com and the Discord bot (“Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

bargeats provides temporary UK mobile phone numbers (“Numbers”) that can be used to receive one-time passcodes (“OTPs”) during account registration flows on third-party platforms such as Uber Eats. We do not affiliate with, endorse, or represent Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, or any other third-party platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Credits and Payments

The Service operates on a prepaid credit basis. Credits are purchased through our payment processor (Stripe) and are non-refundable except where required by law. One credit is consumed when an OTP is successfully delivered to a Number you requested. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Fraudulently create accounts on third-party platforms in violation of those platforms’ own terms of service;
• Harass, abuse, or harm any person;
• Engage in automated large-scale abuse or resell access to Numbers without our prior written consent;
• Attempt to circumvent any security or rate-limiting mechanisms of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we believe you are in breach of this section.

5. Third-Party Platforms

Discounts and promotional offers on platforms such as Uber Eats are provided by those platforms at their sole discretion. bargeats makes no guarantee that any discount, offer, or promotion will be available, valid, or redeemable. The value advertised (e.g. “£10 off”) reflects the offer terms published by the relevant third party and is subject to their own terms and conditions.

6. Promo Codes and Discount Codes

If you use student discount codes (such as UniDays Uber promo codes) or any other promotional code obtained from third-party sources, bargeats is not responsible for the validity, functionality, or redemption of those codes. If a promo code fails to work, expires, or is rejected at checkout, bargeats bears no liability. You acknowledge that promo codes are subject to the terms and conditions of the code issuer and the relevant platform. Any disputes regarding promo codes should be directed to the platform or code issuer, not to bargeats.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software forming part of the Service are owned by or licensed to bargeats. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Numbers will successfully receive OTPs in all cases. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bargeats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
